Symbol mark and logo Policy

LOGONew symbol mark symbolizes a sphere=the Planet Earth to make a shift and it also expresses the philosophy of Hunger Free World to create a new world free from hunger. The part where two spheres overlap means the part where important things to create a new world as well as important relationships between HFW and those who get support exist.

The simple form express the spirit of ‘Creating Together and Working Together,’ that means HFW will spread out its activities with many people beyond the boundaries of sex, age, or culture. At the same time, it would give the image of the left side and the right side holding hands, and the letter ‘W’ of WORLD that indicates HFW as globally active organization. The star like part softens overall impression, and expresses feeling of freedom and joy that HFW aims for.

It expresses warmth and softness while maintaining integrity of HFW as an organization.

Light palm green is the image color of HFW. By using light shade of green, the symbol mark indicates dynamic activities and people. Sky blue symbolizes the Planet Earth and youths which HFW considers important.

In the future we will adopt new patterns such as moving symbol mark and combinations with other images along with symbol mark and color’s unified design development. We will express trust, stability, innovation, change and challenge at the same time in our design program in accordance with HFW’s activities. (Placing an image we want to express in the center of the symbol mark and/or make the part move and/or make it twinkle.)
