 Cautions as to this Site

1. Copyrights

HFW shall hold all copyrights on the documentation (including, without limitation, pictures, diagrams and photographs; the same shall apply hereinafter) of this site. Users shall be prohibited from using (including, without limitation, reproducing, modifying and distributing) such information beyond the extent of the private use as provided for under the Copyright Law or beyond the extent otherwise permitted by the applicable laws, without obtaining the prior consent of HFW. If a user of each service should infringe on the right to any work or creation of a third party by, for example, making public, reproducing, distorting, adapting or translating such work or creation in an unauthorized manner, such infringement shall be attributable to the user, and HFW shall not be responsible or liable for any such infringement. If a conflict or a similar event should occur between a user and a third party relating to the copyright, HFW shall assume no obligation therefor. Furthermore, users shall be obligated to observe the matters set forth in the relevant laws, regulations and orders, including without limitation the Copyright Law, and shall use each service of this site appropriately. The right to a trademark or any other mark of any other corporation belongs to each corporation, and users shall observe the terms and conditions of licenses specified by each owner for the use of such marks.

2. Prohibited Acts

  • The following acts shall not be allowed in any services of this site through which the users can transmit information.
    1. Any act resulting in the defamation of others, such as slander or detraction.
    2. Any act expressly showing private information that may infringe the privacy of others.
    3. Any act infringing on a copyright (refer to Copyrights in Article 1 above).
    4. Any act involving the putting up or linking to any obscene documentation or graphics.
    5. Any act breaching, or deemed to be threatening to breach, public policy, laws or orders.
    6. Any act involving putting up any content for business or other profit-oriented purpose without obtaining the consent of the administrator of each service.
    7. Any act creating a nuisance or disadvantage to other users or any third party.
    8. Any act threatening to interrupt any service of this site.
    9. Other than the above acts, any act deemed inappropriate by HFW.

  • In the event of a breach of the above-mentioned matters, HFW may without giving notice or demand to the breaching user take necessary steps to end it, including without limitation deletion of the relevant documentation, files and the like from the server.

  • If a user should suspend, or cause an event similar to the suspension of, any service of this site, the user shall assume the obligation to compensate for any damage inflicted on this site.

    3. Disclaimer

    IF A USER SHOULD INCUR, OR CAUSE A THIRD PARTY TO INCUR, ANY DAMAGE THROUGH THE UTILIZATION OF EACH SERVICE, HFW SHALL ASSUME NO LIABILITY THEREFOR. HFW DOES NOT WARRANT THE CORRECTNESS OF ANY INFORMATION POSTED ON THIS SITE. Please note that any matters contained in the documentation of this site may be changed or abandoned without notice.

    4. Discontinuance, Abolishment, Addition and Maintenance of Services

  • When HFW judges that a change in its system is necessary for the administration of any service of this site, HFW may make any necessary change without giving prior notice or demand to users. Furthermore, HFW may, without giving prior notice to users, discontinue, abolish or take other action for each service in order to maintain the good condition of the network system operation. The same shall apply to the addition and maintenance of any service.

    5. Governing Law

    The establishment, effectiveness, performance and interpretation of the provisions herein set forth shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

    6. Linking to this Homepage
