In order to solve these issues, HFW selects supports necessary for the region from six domains including nutritional improvement, education, health and sanitation, economic empowerment, promotion of gender equality, and environment, and works with the local residents. The supports will be completed when the local residents become able to solve the issues on their own, making the region free from hunger. The development organization initiated by local residents was launched and the operation of development projects began in collaboration with the local administration.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"genericon genericon-video\"><\/span><a href=\"\/english\/what-we-do\/bangladesh\/\">Activities of Bangladesh<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col\" style=\"height: 700px;\">\n<p class=\"image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.hungerfree.net\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/developmentbn.jpg\"\u3000width=\"300\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Benin<\/h3>\n<p>We conduct six projects in Gbeto and its surrounding villages, including nutrition improvement, literacy education, the operation of kindergarten, the operation of mother and child health center, and support to cooperative. Regarding the kindergarten lunch project and the operation of mother and child health center, discussions began with the local administration aimed at independent management by local people.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"genericon genericon-video\"><\/span><a href=\"\/english\/what-we-do\/benin\/\">Activities of Benin<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col\" style=\"height: 700px;\">\n<p class=\"image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hungerfree.net\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/developmentbf.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Burkina Faso<\/h3>\n<p>We conduct seven projects in four villages in Kubri District, such as nutrition improvement, school lunch, livestock projects, repairing of well, and support to cooperative. Currently, trained facilitators of the projects are leading various projects.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"genericon genericon-video\"><\/span><a href=\"\/english\/what-we-do\/burkinafaso\/\">Activities of Burkina Faso<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"three_column clear\">\n<div class=\"col\" style=\"height: 700px;\">\n<p class=\"image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hungerfree.net\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/developmentug.jpg\"  width=\"300\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Uganda<\/h3>\n<p>We are engaged in activities in 25 villages of five parishes in Wakiso District. We conduct four projects such as tree plantation, well construction, nutrition improvement, and poultry. Local residents started activities independently.
