Literacy education and food processing training is starting

In Gbeto village with about 6,000 population, literacy education and food processing training will start. The literacy education will be given to about 70 women and children. In rural area of Benin, there are many women who cannot read or write and illiteracy rate is 82% (Investigated by the International Monetary Fund). Processing training of cassava which is one of principal food in Benin will be executed so that women can earn money. A cooking facility is constructed by the citizen themselves.
Research to grasp resources of the village, problems and needs are executed, participated by the citizen for the procedure of the project and evaluation.
