Contribute to the community having fun! HFW displayed handicrafts from Benin and Burkina Faso.

HFW sold West African handcrafts. Local musical instruments attracted much attention.

On May 23, OUR EARTH Season.2 was held at the live house SHIBUYA SECO in Shibuya, Tokyo. This event was a demonstration project where professionals who create films, music, art etc. got together. Its aim is to "contribute to the community while having fun, and experience charity activities up close." This time HFW co-hosted the event to raise money. Approximately 70 people turned up on the day and enjoyed themselves with live music and live demonstrations of paintings. HFW displayed handicrafts from Benin and Burkina Faso, and explained its activities on stage.

Under the concept, “1 drink for 1 smile, 1 plate saves 1 life," ¥100 from each sale of food and drink was added to the profit gained from entrance fees. After expenditures, the event raised ¥103,843, which consisted of ¥93,163 from donations and sales of handicraft. The money will be used for projects to support self-reliance of the people in Benin and Burkina Faso.
